Alia ditched the conventional red lehenga look and wore a white saree with a white veil for her wedding day. She wore a hand dyed ivory organza saree embroidered with fine tilla work and an embroidered hand woven tissue veil. Her matching blouse had butterflies and flowers embroidered on it in gold.
She teamed up the outfit with heritage Sabyasachi jewellery featuring uncut diamonds and hand strung pearls. Also, we just can’t miss the elegant diamond mangalsutra which was definitely the statement piece of her look. She went for a no makeup look and left her hair loose for a breezy look. She looked like the perfect summer bride in her beautiful attire. After speculating her bridal look for days, we were definitely surprised. No one could have guessed what Alia was actually going to wear. However, the surprise was surely a lovely one as we loved her white and gold bridal look which she matched with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor as he also wore ivory for the wedding.
