Kapoor recently made headlines with her look in a blue saree during the promotions for her upcoming film ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi.’ She visited Varanasi with her co-actor RajKummar Rao and attended Ganga Aarti. She was seen wearing a bespoke traditional Kanjivaram saree with a hand-painted cricket detail designed by the brand Madhurya.

Her stylist Ami Patel shared a reel on Instagram showing the actors at the scene and she mentioned the details of the outfit in the caption. “The pallu depicts a batsman scoring a boundary in a full stadium, 1983 when India won the World Cup, in the traditional warli style of painting. The evolution of the cricket bat is also highlighted flanked by the foundational cricket jargon,” she wrote. The actor opted for a Gajra bun hairdo, studded earrings, golden bangles and nude makeup to complete the look.
