Sonam Kapoor recently became the talk of the town as she shared pictures in a stunning Gharchola. She posted a thread of pictures on Instagram and wrote a heartfelt note in the caption that read, “Wearing my mom’s 35 year old gharchola… Thanks mama for lending me this sari and blouse, love raiding your closet…” She also added, “Do you know what a gharchola is and the significance of it? Would love to know your answers in the comment section.” Well, let us tell you about her outfit. ‘Ghar Chola’ literally means ‘home apparel’ or ‘outfit worn at home.’ In the term, Ghar refers to the bride's new home and Chola means her wedding ensemble.
