After a long time, Sushmita Sen made a come back to the screen and that too with a bang! The nation is talking about the web series Aarya which has Sushmita Sen as the protagonist and she has essayed the role so seamlessly that you actually feel bad but at the same time empowered due to the guts a mother has when it comes to her cubs! We loved everything about the series, therefore, we just can't wait for the season 2 that is releasing soon.
Another element that we loved in the show was her wardrobe and her elegant looks whixh is also something that we are looking forward to in the season 2. She looked classy, royal, and rich in not just her every day look in the show but also in the two festive sarees that she flaunts for a wedding function sequence. So I decided to break it down to help you recreate it and rock the next wedding season with a similar look and perfect attitude.
Green Saree For Wedding Reception
A golden striped, dark green blouse paired with a plain green chiffon saree made Sushmita look really royal and classy. It was the perfect blend of bling and simplicity. For jewellery, the actress wore a bold pearl choker and tear drop earrings.
For makeup, she had put on a matte rosewood lip shade, subtle highlighter brushed on the nose, the cheekbones, and on the cupid's bow. Her eyebrows are not as thick as the fad is off late but they frame her face perfectly. For eye makeup, she has put on a subtle brown eyeshadow, a slightly winged eyeliner with loads of mascara. Do not forget to use a contourer as that really helps in chiselling your face cut.
Talking about the hairstyle, a simple look will let your simplest of jewels stand out. If you have straight hair that would look nice with a sideways parting and if you have curly hair, just spray a little mouse or a frizz-free spray to keep the curls intact.
Mustard Yellow Saree For Mehendi
Sushmita Sen looks stunning in this ethnic number!. The mustard yellow saree she wore was for a Mehendi ceremony in the series. The grace is in the polka-dotted silk finish blouse and the subtle green and gota patti border. The saree is plain with small gota buti work all over and a touch of green. For jewellery, the actress has worn a heavy green kundan necklace which goes perfectly with the border of the saree. She has worn matching kundan earrings with an emerald drop and what I loved the most was the delicate Rajasthani maang tikka in red meenakari and kundan work.
Her makeup is very subtle as she has gone for a pink nude lip and light pink blush. It is all about the eyebrows here which gives a lot of character to your look. Just add a little kohl to the waterlines of your eyes and you are done.
The rest of the series has her flaunting simple looks, where her stylist has banked on long shrugs (her height does the talking), a watch and nude lipsticks. Her nails too have either been given a french manicure in white or a light pastel nail paint in hues of pink and cream.
