She wore Chandan and a shola mukut, she covered her face with betel leaf. This is what I love about Indian weddings. As a bride, on the day of your wedding you always come home."

Though her simple, elegant wedding look was much appreciated, many don't know that Vidya Balan doesn't wear Sabyasachi Mukherjee anymore. A few years ago, when Vidya Balan walked the red carpet in his creation, she received a lot of backlash for her outfit. Post that, she was never seen wearing his outfits.
In an interview with Spotyboye, she cleared why she no longer wears the designer. She said, “I think Sabyasachi is one of the most talented designers in the country. I have worn him a lot but post Cannes (pauses)... I don’t know if I can call it a fallout, but we have not been in touch. Not that anything has happened, but... it’s unfortunate.”
