In Pics: Imtiaz Ali's Daughter Ida Gives The Ultimate Modern Engagement Look With Corseted Saree Gown

Imtiaz Ali's daughter, Ida Ali, who is also an influencer, recently got engaged with her longtime boyfriend, Krish Agrawal. The filmmaker posted photos of his daughter’s engagement ceremony on his Instagram story. However, Ida’s beautiful attire has been catching attention, as it is the ultimate modern look for an engagement ceremony with a blend of traditional elements.

Ida Ali looked liked a dream in a single taar hand-embroidered chikankari corseted saree gown with an embroidered lace drape, which was custom-made by designer Amit Aggarwal.

Talking about Krish's outfit, he looked dapper in a long crepe jacket with tailored trousers. Molded cording defines the curved neckline, while metallic Nucleus buttons and a pre-draped pocket square complete the look with a precise, engineered finish.

While speaking to Hindustan Times, Imtiaz Ali talked about his daughter's engagement and called it "the greatest happiness" for him. He added, "Krish did speak to me before proposing to Ida."

Meanwhile, Ida revealed that her fiancé, Krish Agarwal, works as a quantitative researcher at a hedge fund. As of now, there are no wedding plans for the couple.

Ida has been open about her relationship since the beginning and frequently posts with Krish on Instagram, especially their travel adventure. In July 2026, she shared a beautiful moment where Krish went down on his one knee to propose for marriage. She also flaunted her beautiful engagement ring.
