Paris Fashion Week: Decoding All The Deets Of The Dior Spring Summer 2024 Showcase

Paris Fashion Week 2023 is underway and making big news. It is considered to be one of the most sought after and highly anticipated style events across the globe. The Paris Fashion Week 2023 is served twice a year to the fashion fanatics, critics, industry and beyond. The first edition is scheduled annually around February-March which showcases the fall/winter edits for the upcoming season. Following this, the months of September - October see the spring/summer collection which is held at the fashion capital of the world, Paris for a period of one week.

A range of luxury labels and brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuittion, Dior, Givenchy, etc. flaunt their spring/summer 2024 edits at one-of-a-kind Parisian venues including the Louvre Museum, Palais Royal, Grand Palais and a range of luxury hotels spread across the city. 

This year as well, the month of September saw the Paris Fashion Week starting to unfold starting Monday, September 25, 2023. The event runs until October 3, 2023 with as many as one hundred and seven brands in the lineup to  showcase their exclusive collections.

Since it is the spring/summer collection of the upcoming season 2024, it brings the fashion enthusiasts everything ranging from forward floral elements, bohemian chic, and minimalistic fashion with a 80s retro twist to it.

The creative director of Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri unraveled an all new spring/summer collection 2024 on Tuesday September 26, 2023. The line up had a sheer mix of feminine and masculine styles that was full of tailored blazers and jackets, skirts tailored out of airy mesh in hues of black, a faded element to the fabrics, rugged and unfinished edges and single shoulder baring tops.
