Birthday girl Deepika Padukone may have found her happily ever after with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, but there’s no denying that her sartorial soulmate is designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Down the years, the star has loved the couturier’s legacy-laden designs and wore his designed outfits on numerous occasions. Right from picking a custom-made Sabyasachi lehenga for her wedding to wearing designer dresses for award functions, the actress always prefers wearing Sabyasachi outfits. So, today, let's take a closer look at all the times Deepika Padukone stepped out in Sabyasachi’s creations.
Shining In A Sequin Saree
Deepika Padukone donned a blue sequin saree from Sabyasachi’s collection for the screening of her film. She draped the saree over a blue noodle strapped blouse and accessorised it with statement bangles and pretty earrings.
Deepika Padukone looked every bit of royal in a floral printed chiffon saree by the designer that had a beaded border. She paired it up with a matching plunging neckline blouse and rounded off her look with subtle makeup and dark lips.

Remember when DP stepped out in a yellow saree and made our jaws drop? The actress wore a yellow ruffled saree and teamed it with a pussy-bow blouse in the same hue. For her accessories, she opted for dramatic shoulder dusters, a belt, and quirky sunglasses. With her hair pulled back in a tight low bun, Padukone rounded off her look with subtle makeup.
Love For Stripes
The red and white striped saree was worn by Padukone for an event. She paired it with a crew neck blouse featuring long sleeves embellished at the cuff and opted for her signature hairdo.
The dimpled beauty looked stunning in this pink Banarasi silk saree by her favourite designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She wore it to a ceremony in Delhi where her father Prakash Padukone received the Badminton Association of India's Lifetime Achievement Award and looked gorgeous as ever.
After tying the knot, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone went to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings at Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple. For the occasion, the diva wore an ivory anarkali suit which she paired with an embroidered dupatta, a pair of gold chaandbalis, and beige juttis.
Epitome Of Beauty
For her Lalbaugcha Raja visit, Deepika paired her pastel Sabyasachi saree with a powder blue blouse. The diva accessorised her look with gold shoulder-grazing chaandbalis that perfectly matched the border of her regal sari. DP rounded off her look with a low bun, a soft brown smoky eye, a hint of coral blush, and a matte pink lip colour.
This list is incomplete without DP’s Guldasta lehenga! For her wedding reception in Mumbai, Padukone stunned everyone with her floral lehenga. The high-waisted lehenga was ornamented with colourful thread embroidery of flowers and birds on a black surface. The bouse featured the same embroidery with a plunging neckline.
