Mark Zuckerberg, the chief executive officer of Meta, recently unveiled WhatsApp's 'Silence Unknown Callers' feature, a new privacy tool. The purpose of the fresh feature is to provide consumers with more control over incoming calls. For greater protection, it will aid in automatically removing spam and incoming calls from unauthorised parties.
Silence Unknown Callers Feature
"You can now automatically silence incoming calls from unknown contacts on WhatsApp for even more privacy and control", Mark Zuckerberg said in a Facebook post.
WhatsApp said the ‘Silence Unknown Callers’ feature will give users more privacy and control of their incoming calls. Such calls won't ring on their phones, but they will show up on the call list in case it's an important call.
Users must ensure that WhatsApp is updated on their phone or that they have downloaded the most updated version from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. (Inside India's First Flagship Apple Store In India BKC, Mumbai)
