  • 4 cups of seedless watermelon chunks
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

Recipe:

  • Blend watermelon chunks in a blender until smooth.
  • Take a saucepan, and heat the combined sugar and lime juice over medium heat. Keep stirring until the mixture dissolves. Let it cool.
  • Mix sugar-lime syrup with watermelon puree and blend until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into an ice cream maker. Now transfer the sorbet to a container and freeze for 2 hours.

Watermelon Popsicles

  • 4 cups of seedless watermelon chunks
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

Recipe:

  • Blend watermelon chunks, lime juice and sweetener (optional) in a blender until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into popsicle moulds, leaving little space at the top for expansion. Now insert popsicle sticks into each mould. 
  • Freeze the popsicles for 4 hours, then remove them from the moulds, and briefly run them under warm water.

Watermelon Granita

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of seedless watermelon chunks
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

Recipe: 

  • Blend watermelon chunks in a blender until smooth.
  • Take a saucepan and heat sugar and lime juice over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves and let it cool. 
  • Combine sugar-lime syrup and watermelon puree, then pour the mixture into a shallow baking dish and place it in the freezer. 
  • After 1 hour, use a fork to scrape the partially frozen mixture to create an even texture.
  • Repeat the scraping process every 30 minutes for about 3 to 4 hours, or until the granita is fully frozen and has a fluffy texture.
