Maa Naina Devi, also known as Mata Sati, is the presiding deity of the Naina Devi Temple. Hindu mythology holds that the temple was established on the location where Goddess Sati's eyes landed when Lord Vishnu dismembered her body into 51 pieces.

    Tiffin Top

    Tiffin Top, also known as Dorothy's Seat, is a well-known tourist destination in Nainital. Tiffin Top's Dorothy Seat, a stone work perch created in the artist's honour, provides breathtaking views of the Himalayas and Nainital city. You can catch a glimpse of the Kumaon Hills and Naini Lake from this point. One can even catch a glimpse of Nanda Devi's beautiful scenery on clearer days.

    Raj Bhawan, Governor’s House

    Raj Bhawan was originally constructed for the Governor of North West Province. It is now the palace of the Governor of Uttarakhand, and is one of Nainital's most opulent attractions. The Governor's House is a Victorian Gothic mansion with two levels, 113 rooms, a garden, a swimming pool, and, a golf course. The structure strongly resembles the Castle of Scotland.

    Naini Lake

    Naini Lake echoes the hues of its picturesque surroundings. The lake, which is shaped like a pear, draws lots of tourists for activities like paddling, boating, and sailing.
