The Surajkund International Crafts Mela is back after a gap of two long years. This is the 35th edition of the popular fair which is held in the Surajkund village near Faridabad, Haryana. The much-loved fair is hosted by the Haryana Tourism Department.
The fair celebrates Indian culture and talent under one roof which is why it is attended by over a million of visitors from all across the world.

Every year, the fair has a different theme state. This year, Jammu and Kashmir is the theme state of the Surajkund crafts mela 2022. If you visit the craft fair, you will get to explore the heritage and culture of Jammu and Kashmir through different art forms and crafts.
This year, Uzbekistan is the partner nation of the Surajkund fair. At the fair, you will get to witness the culture of Uzbekistan with their art, cuisine, clothing, music, dance, paintings and more.

This year, Surajkund mela started on 19th March 2022 and will end on 4th April 2022.

Timings for the fair are between 12.30 pm and 9.30 pm.
On weekdays, the entry fee is INR 120 per person and on weekends, the ticket price is INR 180. Tickets can be booked online. For differently-abled persons, senior citizens, and serving defense personnel and ex-servicemen, there is a 50 percent rebate on entry tickets.

Surajkund is well connected to Delhi and Gurgaon. You can book a cab from Delhi to Surajkund mela directly. Badarpur metro station is the nearest metro station to the fair. It is about 14 km away from the venue. You will easily get an auto or taxi to reach the fair.
Surajkund mela was first organised in the year 1987. The crafts fair is famous for showcasing the diversity of India through handicrafts, handlooms, and other forms of art. It is one of the largest craft fairs in the world.
