Taj Mahal, an epitome of love that the fifth great Mughal Emperor of India Shah Jahan had built for his favourite wife Arjumand Banu Begam, popularly known as Mumtaz Mahal, is one of the most beautiful structures man had built in the history of the world. With its Indo-Turkish architecture, pristine white colour broken by beautiful motifs running throughout and long minarets, it is a stellar example of what man's mind can construct. Situated in Agra, millions of people from around the world undertake a journey to the monument dedicated to love every year, be it winter, or summer.

However, if you were one of those dedicated in their quest towards visiting Shah Jahan's beauteous monument, but the blistering heat of the summer sun is playing spoil-sport, fear not. It seems that there is a Taj Mahal closer home.

The heat, coupled with the cost of travelling could be a deterrent factor for one deciding to travel the 230 odd kilometers to reach Taj Mahal.

The makers have created this recycle Taj Mahal using 1,600 cycle rings, electric pole pipes, park benches, children’s swings, old utensils, nuts and bolts, trucks, cupboard sheets among other discarded items.

Apart from the 20 feet tall Taj Mahal replica, one can also check out the other six wonders of the world at this park.

Located near the Nizamuddin metro station, Sarai Kale Khan, the park is open to visitors from 11 am to 11 pm every day, except Mondays and charges Rs 50 (for adults) and Rs 25 (for Kids aged between 3 to 12 years).

A word of advice, try visiting the park as the sun sets down because the creators have managed to add illuminations to the Taj Mahal replica which light up after dark and make the experience more divine.
