Russian model and former Miss Universe contestant Kseniya Alexandrova has died at the age of 30, weeks after a tragic car accident. According to a report, which cited Russian news outlet Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the accident occurred on July 5, 2025, while Alexandrova and her husband were driving home from Rzhev in Tver Oblast.
Their car collided with an elk that suddenly leapt onto the road. Alexandrova, who was seated in the passenger seat, sustained severe brain injuries. She was rushed to a hospital in Moscow, but despite weeks of treatment, she passed away on August 12, 2025, due to complications.

Alexandrova’s husband, whom she married only four months before the tragedy, was behind the wheel during the accident. Recounting the incident to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, he said, "From the moment it jumped out to the impact, a split second passed. I didn't have time to do anything."

He added that Alexandrova was unconscious immediately after the impact. “Everything was covered in blood,” he recalled. Other drivers stopped to help, and emergency services reached the spot within 15 minutes, but the injuries proved fatal.
Kseniya Alexandrova’s Career and Education
Beyond her modelling career, Alexandrova earned recognition on the global stage. She represented Russia at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant and had earlier been crowned first runner-up at Miss Russia 2017.
Her achievements went beyond modelling. According to a post she shared on Instagram in November 2022, Alexandrova earned a degree from Moscow Pedagogical State University and worked as a practising psychologist. This combination of academic achievement and public presence made her a unique personality in Russia’s fashion and cultural circles.

The news of her death was confirmed by her modelling agency, Modus Vivendis, on August 13, 2025. In a heartfelt tribute shared on Instagram, the agency wrote:
“It is with great sadness that we inform you that our colleague and friend, model Kseniya Alexandrova, passed away yesterday evening.”
The statement further described her as someone who inspired those around her: “Kseniya was bright and talented. She knew how to inspire, support and give warmth to everyone who was around. For us, she will forever remain a symbol of beauty, kindness and inner strength."

The agency concluded, “We sincerely mourn and express our deepest condolences to her family, friends and everyone who had the good fortune to know Kseniya.”
Kseniya Alexandrova’s life was cut tragically short, but she left behind a legacy as a model, psychologist, and inspiration to many.
