Shilpa Shetty is one of the first investors in the unicorn cosmetic, skincare and wellness brand Mamaearth. She recently took to Twitter (X.com) as she congratulated the co-founder couple Varun Alagh and Ghazal Alagh for their company’s entry into the market.
She congratulated the couple by writing on Twitter, "Dreams do come true… with FAITH. From bootstrap to unicorn to now becoming an IPO… what a journey it’s been for Mamaearth."

While Shilpa Shetty and the co-founders cannot contain their ecstasy as their brand reaches new heights, key insight about the returns of the company surfaced. In the IPO's offer for sale phase, Shilpa Shetty sold her ₹13.93 lakh shares. She has received about ₹45.14 crore from this public offering and continues to hold over ₹2.30 lakh shares in the company.
