Bollywood's HIT machine, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make a comeback to the silver screen with Pathaan. Slated to release on January 25, 2023, Pathaan has been making headlines ever since its first announcement.
Pathaan's first song, Besharam Rang brought back the boycott club. Padukone's look from the song, donning a saffron monokini didn't go down well with the moral police, right-wing politicians among others. The #boycottpathaan was soon up on Twitter trends and to no surprise, it continues to be there.
However, amidst all this boycott frenzy, King Khan's Pathaan is breaking records ahead of its release.

SRK's Fitting Reply To MP Speaker
Back when Besharam Rang was first released, Madhya Pradesh Speaker Girish Gautam called out Padukone for carrying a saffron bikini. In an interview, he slammed Shah Rukh Khan and asked him to watch the film with his daughter. Ahead of the release, King Khan was seen at the YRF office with his family. Khan was spotted with daughter Suhana Khan, wife Gauri Khan and son Aryan Khan for the Pathaan screening.

King Khan Upset With Media?

While Pathaan is making news for some reason or the other everyday, we still aren't aware if the team has on-ground media promotions on their marketing strategy this time. No press conferences have been announced by the makers yet and we wonder if it is on their plan at all.
Don't Miss: Pathaan Controversy: Why ‘Besharam Rang’ Is Not Besharam
Celebrities are a regular with press conferences and one-on-one interviews ahead of their movie releases. However, with Pathaan, it looks like the team is planning to take an altogether different route this time. We also ponder if it is a part of the strategy or if King Khan is upset with the media. In 2021, Khan's family was hounded by the media, to say the least when Aryan Khan's drug case first broke. Will the media get to bear the brunt of it? Time will tell. However, sans the regular media promotions too, Khan’s Pathaan continues to be the talk of the town and is believed to have a great run at the box office. Clearly, the era of King Khan isn’t over yet!
Pathaan from YRF's spy universe features Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone as Indian spies. John Abraham will be seen as the antagonist.
