Salman Khan has yet again caught headlines, but this time it isn’t due to a controversy. The Dabangg actor was recently seen attending ex-girlfriend Sangeeta Bijlani’s birthday party in Mumbai. For the unversed, Salman and Sangeeta dated for almost a decade and nearly tied the knot before the marriage was called off. The two have maintained a cordial relationship over the years.
Salman attended the 65th birthday party of his former girlfriend Sangeeta on Wednesday. He entered the venue in his usual serious demeanour and clicked pictures with Sangeeta and other celebrities. His mood shifted when a young fan caught his attention, bringing a smile to his face. He proceeded to interact with the child and even clicked a few pictures with him before heading to the elevator.
Sangeeta is a former Indian actress and model who appeared in several TV commercials and movies, including Tridev, Hatyar, and Jurm. She was crowned Miss India in 1980 and also became National Costume Winner at Miss Universe in the same year.

Sangeeta was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, in a Hindu Sindhi family. She completed her studies at St. Anne's High School and began her modelling career at the age of 16. She transitioned from modeling to Bollywood, making her debut in the film ‘Kaatil’ in 1988. Her song ‘Oye Oye’ from the film ‘Trived’ earned her widespread recognition. Sangeeta’s net worth is not publicly disclosed, but she earns $28K–38.4K from Instagram as per reports.

Sangeeta and Salman had a long-term relationship that lasted almost a decade, which was also one of Salman's longest romances. They met on the sets of a TV commercial in the early days of their Bollywood careers and fell in love. Although they had decided to get married and even had wedding cards printed, they eventually called off the ceremony. After parting ways with Salman, Sangeeta married cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin in 1996, and they finalised their divorce in 2019. Despite their past romance ending, Sangeeta and Salman remain on cordial terms, with Sangeeta often attending events and parties hosted by him.
