Two big announcements for Bollywood buffs - Rohit Shetty has confirmed that Deepika Padukone would be the leading cop or the Lady Singham in his next film, and Ranveer Singh would be a part of Golmaal 5. They are soon going to start working together on the movie.
In the past, the actor and director worked together in Chennai Express in 2013. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer was among the four consecutive hits delivered by Padukone in one year.
Lady Singham In Singham Again

During the launch of Current Laga from Cirkus, Shetty said, “Everybody keeps asking me when I’ll introduce Lady Singham. So here it is. Deepika Padukone will be the lady Singham in Singham Again. She is my lady bomb from the cop universe, and we’re going to start working together on it next year.”
Singham is a much-loved macho cop role played by Ajay Devgn in two films. He made an appearance in Simmba as well as Sooryavanshi.

Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh In Current Laga Re

In the latest song release of Cirkus, we saw Ranveer Singh and Padukone sharing the screen again after Padmavat (2018). The song has a quirky track that fans seem to be loving.
Singh also shared that he often has a lot of fun whenever he has worked with his life partner. He added, “You have to cherish those moments when you have a co-star that you can trust.”
He said that there is a give and take between co-stars, and trust is the foundation of good chemistry between them.
Padukone also added that on sets they are not life partners but co-actors. “As actors, the minute the camera comes on, we’re thinking of our characters.”

The two of them have done a handful of films together, including Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani. They have also appeared in many ads together since their marriage in 2018.

During the same interview, Shetty also confirmed that Cirkus is a prequel to Golmaal 5. He also assured the audience that we will get to see Singh in the much-loved comedy series. It will also mark the fourth collaboration of Shetty and Singh.
