Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha Rumoured to Host a Grand Wedding Reception In Gurugram

Lovebirds Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have been in the spotlight since their engagement, capturing the attention of many. The Bollywood actress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha exchanged rings during an intimate ceremony in Delhi back in May. Surrounded by their loved ones, the couple embarked on their journey to get married. Since their engagement, fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on their upcoming wedding. Interestingly, Hindustan Times reports that despite earlier rumours of hosting two receptions in Chandigarh and Mumbai, the couple is now planning a grand wedding reception in Gurugram.

Wedding Reception In Gurugram

Previously, rumours were circulating that Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were arranging two receptions, with one in Chandigarh and the other in Mumbai. However, according to a source, there is now a possibility that the couple will choose The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel as the venue for their reception. 

According to Hindustan Times, the parents of the soon-to-be-married couple, Pawan Chopra, Reena Chopra, Sunil Chadha, and Alka Chadha, recently visited the hotel to participate in a food tasting session, indicating progress in the wedding preparations. The source said, “On Friday, there was a buzz in the hotel that Parineeti, Raghav and their families would be coming for a food tasting around 7:00 pm, but then it was moved to 9:00 pm.” The insider also revealed that the menu was vast and lavish, ready for their food tasting.

The Hindustan Times’ insider also added, “The food tasting might have been for a grand reception in Delhi NCR, as Raghav, whose birthplace is Delhi and is a politician, so he has most of his friends, close ones and guests in Delhi. It didn’t look like they came in search of a wedding venue.” It was reported that, Parineeti and Raghav will also join for food tasting but eventually only their parents turned up.

The Wedding Date

A confirmation on the wedding date and wedding venue is still awaited, however, according to rumours, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are rumoured to be getting married in October this year. Moreover, recent reports from Hindustan Times also suggest that Parineeti, following the footsteps of her cousin, actress Priyanka Chopra, has expressed interest in choosing Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace as the venue for their wedding ceremony.

For those unversed, despite their efforts to keep it a private affair, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha's wedding rings were exchanged on May 13, 2023 at Kaparthula House in New Delhi. The news was eventually confirmed by Parineeti's aunt, Madhu Chopra, Priyanka Chopra's mother. The ceremony was graced by the presence of several celebrities and politicians, including Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Malhotra, and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Later on, Parineeti and Raghav took to their instagram and posted adorable pictures of their engagement ceremony.
