The theme of engagement was pastel as the couple opted for ivory outfits. Chopra wore a stunning anarkali suit and Chadha was wearing a bandhgala. They shared images of wearing engagement rings.

Parineeti Chopra has shared a few more images from her engagement with Raghav Chadha in which she can be seen having a gala time with her family and friends. She wrote, "When you know, you know. One breakfast together and I knew - I had met the one. The most wonderfulman whose quiet strength would be calming, peaceful and inspiring. His support, humour, wit and friendship are pure joy. He is my home."
She further added that the engagement was filled with love, laughter, emotions and loads of dancing. "As we hugged those we loved dearest and celebrated with them, emotions overflowed. As a little girl in awe of princess stories, I had imagined how my fairytale would begin. Now that it has, it is even better than I had imagined," the caption read.

Taking to her Instagram, Parineeti Chopra shared a heartfelt notepost engagement with Raghav Chadha. It read "Raghav and I are overwhelmed with the love and abundance of positivity we have received over the past few weeks, particularly on our enagagement."
It further highlighted that the two of them come from different worlds, and their union signified the union of their families. "We have gained a bigger family than we could have ever imagined," the statement read.
The post was a special shout out to the couple's amazing friends in the media. "Thank you for being there through the day and cheering for us," the noted ended with Parineeti and Raghav's names mentioned.

Chopra and Chadha have been spotted many times together. Chopra has been spotted outside fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s residence as well.
They were reported to get engaged in April 2023, when Priyanka was visiting India with her husband and daughter to kickstart promotions for her Amazon Prime series ‘Citadel’.

The Hindustan Times has reported that the couple will colour-coordinate for their engagement. Chadha will sport a minimal achkan, while Chopra will be donning an Indian outfit from Malhotra's collection.
A source of the publication has said, “It will be a short trip for Priyanka Chopra. She has kept her work aside just to be there for the occasion and be there for her sister. She will be reaching Delhi on the 13th morning. Her husband Nick Jonas is not expected to accompany her, and it is yet to be seen if she brings her daughter, Malti as a surprise for the family.”
