Johar started the caption by calling his twins, “precious pieces of my heart.” He mentioned that it was difficult for him to express the joy of parenthood he feels every day. “It feels like a burst of so much love that every other emotion takes a back seat!”
He then went on to praise his mother for being there with him at every step of his journey as a parent. “God knows I would be nowhere without her… she’s the pillar all three of us lean on.”
He advised Roohi and Yash to be whatever they want to be but requested them to always be kind.

In an old interview, Johar confessed that the biggest regret in his life was not having a partner. However, the filmmaker welcomed his twins via surrogacy. After embracing parenthood, he was asked if not having a partner convinced him to be a single parent.
He said that the two things were not related. The director even advised that one must only decide to welcome a kid or children in their lives once they are ready to take on the responsibility and have braced themselves for the emotional roller coaster ride that comes with it.

In 2017, Johar announced to the world that he had become a parent to twins. While congratulatory messages flooded his social media accounts, it was Farah Khan’s comment that brought a smile to everyone’s face.
She was the one who advised him to opt for surrogacy. She wrote, “Glad you took my advice seriously. The best thing to happen to you… and they’ll be the youngest people you hang out with so all’s good.”
