Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and director Raj Nidimoru tied the knot on Monday, December 1, 2025, in a deeply private affair. The wedding took place at the sacred Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

The ceremony was reportedly extremely low-key, attended by a select group of around 30 close friends and family members, ensuring the event remained personal and serene.

The couple reportedly performed the Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony, an ancient yogic tradition offered at the Linga Bhairavi Temple. This ritual is designed to cleanse the five elements within the couple and their union, invoking harmony, prosperity, and spiritual balance in their shared life journey.

Samantha and Raj's Relationship Timeline

The couple’s relationship had been the subject of speculation since early 2024, intensified by their professional collaborations on projects like 'The Family Man 2' and 'Citadel: Honey Bunny'. Samantha had subtly acknowledged their bond by 'soft launching' Raj on her social media.

Samantha finally confirmed the news by posting a carousel of wedding pictures on her Instagram, simply captioned: "01.12.2025" followed by two white heart emojis.

Samantha Shares First Pictures From Wedding

The intimate photo series shared by the actress included numerous private moments.

One picture shows Raj lovingly exchanging rings with Samantha, with a close-up photo proudly displaying a large diamond wedding ring on the bride's finger.

Other pictures capture the couple during wedding rituals and sharing candid, joyous moments, including a photo showcasing Samantha's gorgeous mehendi design as she holds Raj's arm.

Samantha captured hearts with her classic and impeccable bridal style, opting to ditch modern pastels for a traditional look.

Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya, with the couple getting divorced in 2021. Raj Nidimoru was also previously married to Sshyamali De, reportedly finalising their divorce in 2022.
