Talks of their supposed wedding were first confirmed by Filmibeat, who noted that the couple is likely to exchange vows on Monday, December 1, 2025, which is believed to be an intimate ceremony at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore.
Still, neither Samantha nor Raj has said a word. Adding fuel to the fire is Raj's ex-wife, Shhyamali De's, Instagram post with a cryptic message reading, "Desperate people do desperate things." Until there is official confirmation from the couple, fans can only speculate.
Raj Nidimoru is a famous Indian-American filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer, who has been applauded for his iconic digital storytelling in India with his web series and films. Raj is popularly known as one of the two creators of the creative duo of Raj & DK, together with Krishna DK. Born in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, Raj was born on August 4, 1975. Raj studied engineering at SVU College before he moved to the US. There, he met DK, and together the duo gave up their tech careers to pursue filmmaking. Their first feature film, 99 (2009), marked the start of their career as directors.
Raj belongs to a well-educated Telugu family. His father, Krishna Nidimoru, and mother, Rama Ratnakara, are his pillars of support. He also has a sister named Sheetal Nidimoru.
The director was previously married to Shhyamali De, a psychology graduate and industry professional who has worked with directors such as Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Vishal Bhardwaj. The couple reportedly separated in 2022.
