Actress Urvashi Rautela has finally addressed the controversy surrounding her film ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ and the backlash over the song Dabidi Dibidi. In a recent conversation with Divya Solgama on Radio Nasha during their special segment ‘Mommy’s Day Out’, the actress opened up about her experience working with Nandamuri Balakrishna and reacted to the online criticism linked to the film. Urvashi defended Balakrishna, describing him as ‘very childlike’ and ‘fun-loving’, and also shared that he was the first person to wish her on Valentine’s Day last year.

During the interview, she opened up about the massive online debate surrounding ‘Daaku Maharaaj, Urvashi admitted that the controversy kept growing gradually on social media. Reflecting on how discussions around the film snowballed into backlash, she said, “I don’t know... sometimes it’s like one thing leads to another thing, then third thing, fourth thing... it was like that.” The actress suggested that online reactions often become amplified over time, especially when viral clips and public opinions continue circulating across platforms.

Actress Defends Her Experience Working With Balakrishna

Despite the criticism surrounding the film and song, Urvashi spoke positively about her experience of working alongside Balakrishna. She praised the veteran Telugu actor and highlighted the action sequences in the film. “Working with him was definitely really, really amazing, and if you watch the film, do watch our action sequences also... that is really kick,” she said during the interview.

Dabidi Dibidi Faced Criticism Over Choreography And Age Gap

The song Dabidi Dibidi became controversial soon after its release. Several social media users criticised the choreography and pointed out the significant age gap between the lead actors. Many viewers labelled the dance moves vulgar, while others questioned the pairing itself. However, Urvashi appeared unfazed by the criticism and continued to support her co-star publicly.

Urvashi Reacts To Balakrishna’s Viral Fan Interactions

The actress further added that fans themselves often enjoy those interactions and do not necessarily react negatively. “They also love it… they are also happy…you won’t imagine,” she stated.

Sharing a   memorable moment, the actress revealed, “Last year on Valentine’s Day, Balakrishna garu was the first person who wished me.”
