According to an interview given by RK Nayyar to the Hindustan Times, he had met Sadhana for the first time while shooting for ‘Love In Simla’ who thought she was the perfect pick for the role but wanted to overhaul her hair look in order to cover her forehead a little. Thus was born the Audrey Hepburn inspired fringe that the actor carried off with full flair and became known for it far and wide.
