A recent trend that’s dominated skincare conversations has been the shift towards “skinimalism”: fewer products, smarter formulas, and simpler routines. It’s been my preferred sincare regimen too, I’m not a fan of 10-step routines, and they rarely work well on my combination skin. The Oriflame Optimals Hydra Radiance range was a recent discovery, which proved to be one of the easiest to adapt to and love.
The packaging is minimal but luxe, and all the products were very functional while looking great.
A minimalist, three-step routine built around hydration, microbiome balance, and barrier health, I committed to using it consistently for a few weeks.

Here’s my honest experience.
A gentle cleanser, this didn’t leave my skin feeling stripped and dry. It has a lightweight gel texture that foams just enough. This was one of the easiest to incorporate into my everyday routine.

It worked well to remove oil and makeup residue, and left my skin feeling ready for the next steps.
What I liked most about all the moisturisers was that they melted into skin like butter. I tried three different moisturising options from the range: the Hydra Radiance Light Cream, the Eye and Lip Contour Cream and The Beyond Moisturiser SPF 25.-1763553836395.jpg)
The Radiance Light Cream quickly became my everyday staple. It’s feather-light, got absorbed instantly, and never left a greasy finish.
Even in humid weather, it didn’t feel heavy. Within minutes, my face felt calm, soothed, soft, and plump.-1763553849427.jpg)
The Beyond Moisturiser SPF 25, on the other hand, became my go-to product for work-from-home days. It’s a multi-benefit cream, and it truly behaves like one — hydration, smoothing, brightening, and lightweight sun protection all bundled together.
The Eye and Lip Contour Cream had a lovely finish, and perfect for added hydration.
I usually judge a range by the sunscreen, because I think they usually make or break my routine.
This one pleasantly surprised me. It’s ultra-light, absorbs fast, and most importantly, leaves no white cast. What I loved most was the dewy glow it leaves behind. It was also enough to be used on it’s own, without a moisturiser.-1763553861572.jpg)
This finish worked beautifully under makeup. If you prefer a matte sunscreen, this may not be for you, but if you enjoy a glowy base, this formula is perfect.
Oriflame’s commitment to sticking to the highest international standards, while being cruelty-free and sustainable, all work in its favour. If you’re looking for a minimalist routine that prioritises glow, hydration, and barrier health without demanding too much time, this is a range worth trying.
