Do you also face the problem of dried-up mascara? Well, this is what most of us face and can't seem to find the solution. Fret not, because we are here to help you with some solutions to fix your dried-up mascara.

Reasons Of Dried-Up Mascara

Before checking out the solutions, let's see why mascara dries out so soon.

Over-Pumping

When you pump your wand into the mascara tube, you are pushing air into it, thus drying up the mascara. Also, bacteria thrives in oxygen. Therefore, when you pump air into it, the solution becomes contaminated.

Not Shutting The Cap Properly

We try to keep it shut properly but there are times when we don't close the cap properly, thus allowing the mascara to dry up.

Hacks To Fix Dried-Out Mascara

Hot Water

One of the most simple solutions is to keep your mascara in hot water. Hot water will melt the thick formula, thus leaving your mascara just as good as new.

You can just fill up a mug or bowl with hot water and dip your mascara in it for a few minutes. However, make sure that the lid is tightly closed, otherwise the water might get inside the bottle.

Lens Solution

If you use lenses or someone in your home does, then you are sorted. If not, eye drops are also a good alternative. The best part is that both these things are quite safe for you and your eyes.

Just add a few drops of the lens solution to the tube. The eye drops will de-clump the thick solution making it good for use.
