Day 1 - White

Day one is dedicated to Maa Shailputri. The colour white signifies peace and purity. The Moon is thought to cool emotions, promote stability, and bring calm. Dressing in white is meant to create emotional stability on Day 1.

Day 2 - Red

Day two recognises Maa Brahmacharini. The colour red represents energy, grit, and strength – a Mars connection.

It goes beyond courage and discipline to keep code switchers focused on their targets.

Day 3 - Royal Blue

Day three features Maa Chandraghanta. Royal blue is the colour of harmony, allure, and luxury. Venus rules royal blue and influences relationships and luxuries. Wearing royal blue should invoke balance and happiness. 

Day 4 - Yellow

Day four belongs to Maa Kushmanda. Yellow, ruled by the Sun, represents vitality, cleverness, and confidence. Devotees wear their yellow clothing to influence higher self-esteem and attraction to success.

Day 5 - Green

Day five honours Maa Skandamata. The colour green represents prosperity, love, and new beginnings. For Mercury, we have green associated with wisdom and communication that can instill harmony in relationships and love (green for Venus would represent a love of natural beauty i.e. the Earth).

The sixth day is for Maa Katyayani, and Grey offers neutrality and wisdom while connecting to Jupiter. Grey assists believers to stay centered and rooted in their truth to work symbolically within their dharma. 

Day 7 - Orange

The seventh day is a celebration of Maa Kaalratri. Orange is connected to Saturn and symbolises the fire energy within a person. Orange represents the energy to protect against negative action while pushing themselves with proactive action and perseverance through difficulty.

Day 8 - Peacock Green

The 8th is Maa Mahagauri. Peacock green represents hope and transition, and in this case, is addressed to Rahu. Peacock green can give clarity and dispel illusions when going to the next stage in spiritual matters

Day 9 - Pink

The last day, for Maa Siddhidatri, the colour pink is a representation of compassion, balance, and divine love.

Ketu represents a detachment from the material world and is more related to inner peace.
