Ekadashi in June 2024 Significance

Ekadashis are the most sacred days in the year as per the Hindu calendar. In June 2024, we will celebrate Apara Ekadashi and Nirjala Ekadashi when devotees will observe a rigid fast without consuming water and food to please Lord Vishnu and wash off their sins.

Ekadashi in June 2024 Puja Rituals

1. Wake up early, clean your puja room, and shower.
2. Place idols of Lord Vishnu, Lord Krishna, and Ladoo Gopal on a wooden plank after bathing them.
3. Light a diya with desi ghee in front of the idols.
4. After offering them Tulsi leaves, fruits, and panchamrit, chant Krishna Maha Mantra 108 times.
5. Pray to Lord Vishnu in the evening, read the path (story), and chant mantras for Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna.
