The festival of Baisakhi will be celebrated on Sunday, April 14, 2024, according to the Hindu calendar. Also, the Sun God will transit into Aries on this day.
There is a lot of singing, dancing and worshipping involved in the celebration of this festival. However, the expert told us that the Shubh Muhurat for puja on this day will begin at 3:12 pm on April 14.
Langars are organised on a large scale in all the Gurudwaras on this day. Also, a symbolic bath with milk and water is given to the Guru Granth Sahib and then, it is installed on the throne.
The 'Panch Pyare' also sing 'Panchbani' on this day. After that, Ardaas is performed during the day and after that Kadha Prasad is offered to the Guru. Apart from this, the Sikh and Hindu devotees perform Kar Seva on this day.
