While there hasn’t been any significant news about ‘xXx 4’ recently, Vin Diesel's success across various franchises suggests that fans should keep their hopes alive. The ‘xXx’ franchise kicked off in 2002 with Diesel portraying Xander Cage, an extreme sports enthusiast and rebellious stuntman turned superspy for the National Security Agency, tasked with infiltrating a dangerous terrorist group.
The second film hit theatres in 2005, but much like Diesel’s brief departure from the ‘Fast & Furious’ series after the first movie, he stepped away from ‘xXx’ as well, with Ice Cube taking over the lead role. However, just like ‘Fast & Furious,’ the ‘xXx’ franchise missed Diesel’s presence, prompting his return in ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ in 2017.
While we eagerly wait for ‘xXx 4,’ you can catch up on the first three films, all available on various OTT platforms. Below, you'll find out where to stream them.
Where To Watch ‘xXx’ Movie
Released on August 9, 2002, the film stars Vin Diesel as Xander Cage, an extreme sports enthusiast and rebellious stuntman who reluctantly becomes a spy for the National Security Agency. His mission is to infiltrate a dangerous group of potential Russian terrorists in Central Europe. If you're interested in watching the movie, you can stream it online on Zee5, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV.
Where To Watch ‘XXX: State of the Union’
Released on April 29, 2005, the second film stars Ice Cube as Darius Stone, a new recruit in the Triple X programme. His mission is to head to Washington, DC to neutralise a power struggle among the nation's leaders. If you're keen to watch this instalment, it is available for streaming on Amazon Prime, JioCinema, and Apple TV.
Where To Watch ‘XXX: Return of Xander Cage’
Released on January 20, 2017, the third film marks Vin Diesel's return as Xander Cage, who emerges from self-imposed exile, previously thought to be dead. He faces off against a deadly alpha warrior and his team in a race to recover a powerful weapon known as Pandora's Box.
Along the way, Xander recruits a new group of thrill-seeking allies and uncovers a dangerous conspiracy involving high-level government collusion. You can stream the third instalment on Netflix.

Is There Going To Be A Fourth Part Of ‘xXx’?
While there have been numerous reports about a potential fourth instalment of the 'xXx' franchise, nothing has been officially confirmed yet. However, Ice Cube’s character, Darius Stone, appearing at the end of 'xXx: Return of Xander Cage' hinted at a larger story for a possible 'xXx 4.'
Production was initially expected to begin in early 2019, but that never happened. Later that year, Japanese musician Yoshiki was announced as the composer for the project. Since then, updates have been scarce, with the only major development coming in September 2023, when it was revealed that 'xXx 4' was part of the H Collective’s upcoming slate.

Despite this, no new information about production has surfaced. Interestingly, according to Screenrant, director D.J. Caruso suggested that if a fourth film happens, it would focus on a broader conflict involving "the fugitives." He referenced Sam Jackson’s character, who mentions the need for someone to "watch the watchers," hinting that the next movie could explore what world leaders would do if they discovered that these individuals were overseeing those in power.
