Test OTT Premiere: The much-anticipated Tamil sports drama Test is finally dropping on Netflix. Directed by S Sashikanth and produced under the YNOT Studios banner, the movie is based on an original story of Suman Kumar, known for his work on The Family Man. Test Release Date And Time 

Directed by S Sashikanth, Test is a Tamil sports drama starring R Madhavan in the lead role.  The first single, Arena, was released on March 10, 2025, followed by the second single, Hope, on March 20, 2025. Instead of a theatrical release, Test will premiere directly on Netflix on April 4, 2025, in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. The movie will go live at midnight Pacific Time and 1:30 pm IST. Premium Netflix users can watch this movie on Netflix at the mentioned time.

Test Plot 

Starring R Madhavan in the lead role, the Tamil sports drama Test is co-written by Sashikanth and Suman Kumar. The story revolves around Saravanan (R. Madhavan), a cricketer who is determined to prove his mettle.

Test Cast And Crew

Apart from R Madhavan, the movie features Nayanthara, Siddharth, Kaali Venkat, Nassar, Vinay Varma, and Meera Jasmine who returns to Tamil cinema after a decade in the pivotal roles. The music is composed by Shakthisree Gopalan, cinematography by Viraj Singh Gohil, and editing by TS Suresh. Shot primarily in Chennai and Bengaluru, the movie captures the essence of professional and personal struggles within the framework of an inspiring sports drama. R Madhavan portrays the role of Saravanan ‘Sara’ and Nayanthara as Kumudha Saravanan, alongside Siddharth as Arjun and Meera Jasmine as Padma Arjun.
