Recently, Prime Video has been including a number of regional blockbusters and today marks the streaming premiere of the Tamil film ‘Garudan.’ The village drama ‘Garudan’ starring Soori, Sasikumar, Unni Mukundan, Samuthiraikani and Shivada Nair in lead roles was critically acclaimed by critics and fans for its exemplary performance, direction, thrilling action, and so much more.

The film was first released in theatres in May 2024 and is now available to stream on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video, exclusively available across India and 240 countries worldwide. The RS Durai Senthilkumar directorial is set in the beautiful town of Theni in Tamil Nadu. the story builds with Minister Thangapandi (RV Udayakumar) disrupting the lives of the innocent in his quest to seize temple land. The lead characters who were childhood friends are forced to fight amongst each other in the movie, leading to a series of betrayals, acts of revenge, power plots, and more. The drama will have you at the edge of your seats with a promise of intense twists.

The Tamil (Websites For Tamil Dubbed Movies) hit grossed over ₹50 crores at the worldwide box office, making it one of the biggest hits of Kollywood in 2024. However, the film was made with an approximate budget of ₹20 crores. To stream the film online, you are required to have a Prime membership which is available for just ₹1,499 a year.
