Superman is soaring to incredible heights, smashing the global box office collection. After one week of a successful theatrical run, James Gunn’s superhero film has crossed $300 million worldwide. Released on July 11, 2025, the film opened with decent numbers but experienced a slight dip in the following days. Despite the fall, the film has managed to maintain a strong grip on the numbers at the box office. The superhero film starring David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan is aiming to cross Rs 40 crore at the Indian box office and has leapt past $300 globally.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film hit a milestone on Thursday, crossing the $300 million mark. The total collection includes an impressive haul of over $200 million alone in the US market. Now, the film is expected to continue doing well despite new releases. The film is having no trouble staying at the top of the chart despite new offerings like ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ and ‘Smurfs’.

Superman Indian Box Office Collection
As per the Sacnilk report, the superhero film is inching towards Rs 40 crore net in India. It opened with a decent collection on day one, earning Rs 7.25 crore and soared during the first weekend, collecting Rs 9.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 9.25 crore on Sunday. However, on the first Monday, the film experienced a major dip in earnings, collecting only Rs 2.6 crore. Since then, the number has been low but steady at the box office. On day 5, it collected Rs 3 crore while on day 6, it recorded Rs 2.1 crore, followed by Rs 1.8 crore earned on Day 7. On day 8, the estimates stood at Rs 1.50 crore. The film has managed to collect over Rs 37 crore till now and is expected to cross the Rs 40 crore mark in the upcoming days.
