In the present, Anand grows up to become a police officer, much like his father. His life begins to mirror the past in unsettling ways.

After the birth of his daughter, he is posted to a station near the same forest. Soon, he joins a rescue mission to find a missing officer from Tamil Nadu who has been sending signals through a wireless device.

But when Anand and his team arrive, they find only skeletal remains. Not long after, a drop of blood hits the ground, and everything changes.

Anand and the others begin shifting through time. Each violent act or loud sound pushes them into another moment, making it harder to understand what is real and what has already changed.

On his way to a new posting, Anand is involved in a road accident where a young woman is fatally injured. As he looks through her phone, he makes a shocking discovery, she is his daughter, now grown up, who has somehow travelled back in time.

In that moment, Anand understands the truth. The curse is not fully undone yet. To truly end it, and to save his daughter, he must go further back and stop the Portuguese from committing the original act of violence.
