Officer On Duty released on the big screen on February 20, 2025, within just a week of its theatrical release the movie has been performing fairly well on the box office. According to a report published by Sacnilk, “Officer On Duty has earned Rs 14.25 crore in total through ticket sales. According to predictions made by industry experts and several media reports, Officer On Duty is now available on OTT from March 20, 2025, exactly a month after its theatrical release.”

As per several reports and rumours the streaming right of the Malayalam crime thriller has been acquired by the streaming giant, Netflix. So it might be released on March 20, 2025 on Netflix. However, none of this is confirmed or has been announced by Netflix or the makers of the movie.

The Malayalamcrime thriller,‘Officer On Duty’ follows the story of a demoted police inspector who’s on a mission to investigate a fraudulent jewellery racket but this mission leads him to a web of crime which ultimately risks his life. The cast features, Kunchacko Boban, Vishak Nair, Priyamani, Jagadish, Anju Abhraham, Leya Mammen, Vishnu G Varrier and Aiswarya Raj among others.
