The much-awaited Tamil action drama film Varisu stars Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna, with R. Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shaam in supporting roles. Directed and co-written by Vamshi Paidipally, the film centres on the youngest son of a business magnate being appointed as the chairman of his father's company, much to the dismay of his two older siblings.
The 2023 Telugu action drama film Veera Simha Reddy directed by Gopichand Malineni stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in a dual role along with Honey Rose, Shruti Haasan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Duniya Vijay. Veera Simha Reddy is a well-respected figure in the community and his son Bala Simha Reddy settles in the States. The son comes back to India and exacts retribution on those responsible for his father's murder after his father is assassinated in village politics.
The unusual village beauty, Monjori, and Damodar, the new postmaster of Hagda, are coming to Hoichoi to share untold tales and rural sentiments with the audience. Dak Ghar is also a 1912 eponymous play by Rabindranath Tagore. Amal, a young boy with an incurable illness, is confined to his adoptive uncle's house. The drama "continues to occupy a distinctive place in Tagore's reputation, both within Bengal and in the wider world", write W. Andrew Robinson and Krishna Dutta.
The Japanese drama Call Me Chihiro is all set to premier on Netflix on February 23. The film revolves around Chihiro who works at a small beachside bento (Japanese style of serving a meal and special container in which you can put your food and carry around) shop called Nokonoko Bento and how she becomes a popular figure in the city.
