Elvish Yadav, the famous Indian YouTuber and a participant in ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2,’ has frequently alluded to his former romantic partner, yet her identity has remained veiled in mystery. Recently, Herzindagi had the privilege of conducting an exclusive interview with Elvish Yadav's ex-girlfriend, Kirti Mehra, who is also a prominent content creator and influential figure in the realm of social media, commanding a substantial fan base.
In the interview, Kirti sheds light on intriguing aspects of her life. Delving into her journey as a YouTuber, her perspective on Bigg Boss OTT, her past relationship with Elvish Yadav, and their collaborative efforts, Kirti speaks candidly about various facets of her life. With no filters, she also delves into the functioning of YouTube fan communities, the negativity she encounters, and the contrasting personalities of herself and Elvish.
Kirti Mehra's Take on YouTubers' Popularity
Kirti posits that contemporary YouTubers experience higher levels of engagement compared to television stars. She attributes this phenomenon to the deeper and more personal connections YouTubers establish with their audiences. Unlike other public figures such as cricketers or traditional celebrities, YouTubers frequently engage in activities like meetups, fostering a stronger rapport with their viewers. The realm of YouTube has proven itself as a platform where content creators often amass larger audiences, although this trend has not been without its share of controversies, leading some individuals to initiate boycotts against the industry.

However, Kirti's observation doesn't come without her own preferences. While she doesn't claim an extensive list of favourites, she notably appreciates the comedic stylings of Round2hell and the content produced by Prajakta Kohli. Interestingly, she even playfully includes herself among her favoured YouTubers, (fashion YouTubers) adding a touch of humour to her perspective.
Kirti Mehra On Online Trolling
Reflecting on her experiences with online trolling, Kirti Mehra shares her perspective. While Kirti's own audience has consistently shown her remarkable support, even affectionately addressing her as 'didi' (an elder sister figure), she has noticed a less positive trend among the audiences of other YouTubers. She disclosed that she used to keep her Instagram notifications switched on, as she values staying in touch with her comments and interactions. However, in recent times, she has taken the decision to disable comments on her posts. This choice stems from her belief that certain comments are devoid of constructive value and do not merit her engagement.
Addressing a specific topic, Kirti discusses how a faction of individuals has accused her of leaving Elvish. Dismissing these claims, Kirti reaffirms her transparent nature with her audience, asserting her readiness to openly discuss any aspect of her journey. However, she raises a thought-provoking question: if there is a lack of reciprocal communication from the other party, is it not a form of self-respect to refrain from responding?
Kirti Mehra On Supporting Elvish Yadav
Sharing her thoughts about her relationship with Elvish Yadav, Kirti reflects that their connection has spanned from her late teens to her mid-twenties, a significant period of her life. This enduring bond compels her to offer unwavering support to him. Nevertheless, Kirti acknowledges her uncertainty about how to address the situation if the other party were to disavow their relationship. This poses a perplexing challenge for her.
Kirti further delves into the enigmatic term 'Kilvesh' that Elvish Yadav has used. While she remains uncertain about its exact connotation, she speculates that it might pertain to her, or it might not. She expresses her intention to engage in a discussion about this matter with Elvish once he exits the Bigg Boss house. She suggests a potential origin for the term, referencing an inside joke they shared about the antagonist 'Tamraj Kilvish' from the television series 'Shaktimaan.' She conjectures that he might have used the term without realising its broader implications, inadvertently connecting to something else.
Kirti Mehra On Elvish Yadav’s Journey In Big Boss OTT 2
Kirti Mehra shared her perspective on Elvish's journey in Bigg Boss OTT. According to her, Elvish's fans seem to have clashed with Salman Khan. She believes that during a particular scene, Salman shouldn't have brought Elvish's mother into the conversation, especially when he was feeling vulnerable, which ultimately led to his emotional breakdown. Kirti also feels that Salman's remark "Will your audience watch you for 500 rupees?" was inappropriate and unnecessary, as she believes it wasn't the right time to bring up that topic.

One positive aspect of being with Elvish, in Kirti's view, is his willingness to go to great lengths for the people he cares about, showing his strong attachment. However, she notes that Elvish has struggled with anger issues, though he does take responsibility for his mistakes. Expanding on Elvish's close bond with Fukra Insaan also known as Abhishek Malhan, Kirti expressed her belief that their friendship isn't fake, yet she suspects both of them might be strategizing to some extent. Regardless of the outcome, she concludes that whoever emerges as the winner, it will ultimately be a positive outcome for both of them.
