According to Prime Video's synopsis, “Dexter Morgan awakens from a coma and sets out for New York City, determined to find Harrison and make things right. But when Miami Metro’s Angel Batista arrives with questions, Dexter realizes his past is catching up to him fast,” is the plot of ‘Dexter: Resurrection’

In the fourth episode, Dexter Morgan (played by Michael C Hall) finds himself treading unfamiliar ground when he's invited to a chilling dinner party hosted exclusively for serial killers, pushing his double life into dangerous new territory.  Harrison Morgan (played by Jack Alcott) edges deeper into darkness, with guilt and fear of arrest as Angel Batista (played by David Zayas) draws ever closer. Meanwhile, Dexter forms a dangerous connection, believing he has found a kindred spirit named Mia LaPierre (played by Krysten Ritter).

Dexter’s association with Mia may turn into something more dangerous than he anticipates. Whether she becomes an ally aligned with his sense of justice or a rival challenging his code, the boundaries are shifting.
