Last night's episode of ‘Dancing With the Stars’, known as Dedication Night (aired on October 14), was a deeply moving experience for both the celebrity dancers and the audience watching. The ten competing pairs performed emotional routines to honour their family and friends.

What made the night unique was that, for the very first time, the person being celebrated joined the couple on the ballroom floor, making the tribute exceptionally moving.

Who Went Home During ‘DWTS’ Week 5?

The episode featured two-time Mirrorball winner Kym Johnson as a guest judge alongside regular judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough. Last week’s elimination saw Hilaria Baldwin and Gleb Savchenko leave the competition during Disney Night, but there was a twist this week: no couple was eliminated following the dedication performances.

Special Performances And Choreography

The show featured several captivating group routines in addition to the competition dances. The show’s troupe performed routines set to ‘Mystical Magical’ by Benson Boone and ‘Man I Need’ by Olivia Dean. The professionals also presented two choreographed numbers: ‘Green Light’ by Lorde, choreographed by Jenna Johnson and Britt Stewart, and ‘Back On 74’ by Jungle, choreographed by Brandon Armstrong.
