The Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan starrer, Azaad, released on the big screen on January 17, 2025. According to industry insider, Sacnilk, Azaad didn’t do very well on the box office. The movie garnered a revenue of approximately ₹9.09–10 crore worldwide. But this has become a trend with most Bollywood movies today, as they don’t perform very well during its theatrical release but become a hit after its OTT release. The OTT release date of Azaad has been announced. Azaad will be available on OTT from March 14, 2025.

Netflix, the streaming giant, has secured the rights to stream Azaad. They recently announced the film's OTT release with a post that reads, “Bahaduri, wafadaari, aur jung aazadi ki.
