The Miss International pageant’s 63rd edition unfolded at Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Gymnasium on November 27, 2025, where Colombia’s Catalina Duque claimed the crown, becoming the event’s 63rd titleholder. Established in Long Beach, California, in 1960, the pageant has grown into a global platform.
Eighty contestants from around the world competed for the crown, making the event a showcase of global talent. The show was hosted by Andrea Rubio of Venezuela, the 2023 winner, as well as Japan’s 2019 Miss International Momi Okada and Max Powers.
The competition featured the Top 20 contestants participating in both the swimsuit and evening gown segments. The Top 10 then advanced to the public speaking round, where they shared their perspectives on initiatives related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The previous year’s winner, Vietnam's Huỳnh Thị Thanh Thủy, crowned her successor.

Duque’s significant pageant career began in June 2023 when she was designated as Miss Antioquia. She was widely considered a frontrunner throughout the competition.
Duque is the seventh titleholder from Antioquia in the history of Miss Colombia; the last time the department won was in 1996 with Claudia Elena Vásquez. Her subsequent representation of Colombia at Miss International 2025 culminated in her winning the title.
