Vivo T5 Pro vs Vivo T4 Pro: Key Differences In Camera, Price, and Specifications

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G officially launched in India on April 15, 2026, as a direct successor to the T4 Pro. While the T4 Pro was a balanced all-rounder, the T5 Pro has pivoted aggressively toward being an endurance king, featuring a world-first battery capacity for its slim profile. Here is how these two generations of Vivo’s T-series compare.

Vivo T5 Pro vs Vivo T4 Pro Camera

The camera setup reveals a significant strategy shift. To accommodate the massive 9,020mAh battery, Vivo had to simplify the camera hardware.

• Rear Setup: The T4 Pro was loved for its versatile triple setup, including a periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. The T5 Pro has moved to a simpler dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor and a 2MP depth lens.

• Video Capabilities: Both support 4K recording, but the T5 Pro introduces AI-powered film mode and improved 4K stabilisation on the front camera.

• Selfie: The front camera has been upgraded from a 32MP sensor to a 50-Ultrapixel sensor on the T5 Pro for sharper vlogging.

Which Vivo Should You Buy?

Buy the Vivo T5 Pro if you are a power user or traveller. The 9,020mAh battery is currently unmatched in a phone that is only 8.25mm thin. Buy the Vivo T4 Pro if you are a photographer. If you can still find it in stock, the T4 Pro’s periscope zoom lens offers much better portrait and distance photography than the new T5 Pro.
