Boosting Women Entrepreneurs
CA Jain said that one of the major highlights of this year’s budget is the new scheme providing financial support of up to ₹2 crore to five lakh first-time women, SC, and ST entrepreneurs over the next five years. “This initiative is expected to promote women-led businesses, giving them the capital needed to start and scale enterprises. With access to financing being one of the biggest hurdles for women in business, this scheme could be a game-changer in reducing gender disparities in entrepreneurship," she mentioned.
Expanding Health And Nutrition Support
"The expansion of Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 is set to benefit 8 crore children, 1 crore pregnant mothers, and 20 lakh adolescent girls. This move ensures better nutritional and healthcare support, which is critical for women’s overall well-being, especially for maternal and child health. By strengthening these schemes, the government aims to address malnutrition and provide essential healthcare resources for women and young children," shared Jain.

Greater Access To Credit For Women

Ensuring women have financial resources and institutional support is key to fostering economic independence and increasing their participation in various industries."
"These measures highlight a shift towards economic inclusivity and gender-equal opportunities. By addressing entrepreneurial barriers, healthcare access, and financial empowerment, the budget takes a step forward in supporting women. However, the effectiveness of these initiatives will depend on their implementation and accessibility. The focus on women-led businesses, health, and financial access demonstrates the government’s commitment to empowering women economically," she concluded.
