Korean spots in Delhi

Everyone knows Majnu Ka Tila (MKT) for Korean food, but the lines, the crowd, and the 2-hour wait? It's not worth it every time. Delhi actually has a whole Mini-Korea hiding in Humayunpur, Green Park, Lajpat Nagar and other places which are more authentic, more aesthetic, and way less crowded.

Underrated Korean Spots In Delhi Other Than MKT

Here are 7 underrated spots you probably haven't tried in Delhi apart from MKT where you can experience Korea's food and culture.

1. Gung The Palace, Green Park

This is Delhi's OG fine-dining place for good Korean food, where you will see floor seating, tatami mats and private cabins with cherry blossom decor. From Kimchi Jjigae to Bibimbap, you will find everything here that you might have seen on social media in Korea. It can be a little pricey but also worth it.

2. Seoul Restaurant, Ansal Plaza

For the unversed, this is Delhi's oldest authentic Korean restaurant since the 90s.  Hidden on the 3rd floor of Ansal Plaza, it has a main hall and private rooms. The restaurant is widely known for its Budae Jjigae (Army Stew), Makgeolli and Soju. If you want a proper sit-down Korean family meal, this is it.

3. Kori's, Humayunpur and GK-1

This is a new addition to some authentic Korean food in Delhi. Not only are these outlets Instagrammable, but they also have some amazing Korean food and do not forget to try their Kimchi Kimbap, Pork Bulgogi and Lemonade.

4. Dalgrak, Korean Cultural Centre, Lajpat Nagar 4

Dalgrak is inside the Korean Cultural Centre itself and is also an underrated space for good Korean food. You must try Tuna Kimbap, Cheese Tteokbokki, Bibimbap and their Strawberry Patbingsu. Not only is the food amazing, but it is also budget-friendly and won't hurt your pocket like other aesthetic places.

5. Cafe Doma, Humayunpur

A minimal, woody, aesthetic cafe tucked away in Safdarjung's Humayunpur area is a beautiful yet underrated spot finding good Korean food. Their Chicken Bibimbap, Cheese Gimbap and Raspberry Ade are cult favourites. You can also find some books and stickers at the cafe.

6. Seoul Station Cafe, Lajpat Nagar 2

Tiny 4-table cafe with bright yellow walls and K-drama posters, Seoul Station Cafe will be a heaven for K-drama and K-pop lovers. It is a cozy Korean eatery serving authentic street food, including corn dogs and ramen.

7. Mr. K Ramyun Cafe, Green Park / Hauz Khas / Malviya Nagar

Mr. K Ramyun Cafe has outlets across Delhi NCR and its Korean food has never disappointed customers. Here you can also DIY Ramyun Bar, where you pick your noodles, toppings, and spice level and make it yourself.
