Prioritising durable and stylish materials

Upholstery that uses stain-resistant fabrics like performance velvet or leather that are chic and easy to clean can be prioritised. Similarly, opting for durable flooring like luxury vinyl planks, engineered hardwood, or large area rugs with washable materials can be effective.

Using multi-functional furniture

Selecting storage integrated pieces like ottomans, benches, or coffee tables with hidden storage can help minimise clutter. Incorporating convertible furniture, such as bunk beds, fold-out desks, or extendable dining tables, can ensure you save space and offer flexibility.

Opting for a playful but cohesive palette

Spaces could be tied together by choosing a neutral base and adding pops of colour to elevate the space with throw pillows, rugs, or art. This helps change the look and feel of the space as your kids grow.
