The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have made significant moves in the IPL 2025 auction, aiming to build a competitive team following their impressive run as the runners-up in IPL 2024. Under the leadership of Australian captain Pat Cummins, SRH has strategically acquired a balanced squad that includes both seasoned players and promising talents.

During the two-day auction held in Jeddah, SRH made notable purchases that reflect their commitment to strengthening their lineup.

Ishan Kishan, the wicketkeeper-batter, was the standout buy at Rs 11.25 crore. His ability to score quickly at the top of the order is expected to add dynamism to SRH's batting lineup.

Mohammad Shami, a key bowler, was secured for Rs 10 crore. Known for his precision and experience, Shami is anticipated to lead SRH's bowling attack alongside Cummins.
