It's weird how people go mad over the news of celebrity pregnancy as if they are themselves welcoming the child at their home. While it's normal to feel happy for your favourite celebrity couple, it's completely inadequate to speculate or spread fake pregnancy rumours soon after their wedding or worse, make inappropriate remarks in respect to their pregnancy.  

Back in 2011 when Beyonce’s pregnancy news broke out at the MTV awards ceremony, the audience immediately lost it and erupted into a collective barrage of screams. However, when Beyoncé appeared on an Australian talk show a month later, the audience made unacceptable comments on Beyonce which showed how we fail as a society. According to a report by Global News Network, when the American singer sat down, people threw several remarks like, "her baby bump appeared to deflate". This instantly prompted wild speculation that Beyonce was faking it. Questions still fly to this day. Has she secretly employed a surrogate? Did she lie about the date of conception? Is she trying to enhance her bump?

Soon after Deepika-Ranveer announced pregnancy, the actress found herself in the middle of wild speculations and downright evil comments. In May 2024, Deepika along with her husband stepped out to cast a vote, but little did they know that the mom-to-be Deepika will soon be ambushed by the new wave of internet trolls. Recently, Bollywood actress, Parineeti Chopra found herself amidst pregnancy rumours, sparked by her choice of attire at the trailer launch event for her upcoming Netflix film, 'Chamkila.' Reportedly, she was wearing a loose and baggy black kaftan dress, due to which, social media buzzed with speculations of the actress having a baby bump. 

Soon after, the actress took to her Instagram to shut down the pregnancy rumours in a hilarious way. "Kaftan dress = pregnancy. Oversized shirt = pregnancy. Comfy Indian kurta = pregnancy," said Parineeti in her Instagram story accompanied by a laughing emoji. This candid statement was a clear response to the rumours about her expecting a child with her husband, Raghav Chadha, a member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
