As the Dalquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Telugu film Sita Ramam had its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 9, 2022. Twitter can’t seem to stop praising the film as well as its actors. The film had a theatrical release a month ago on August 5, 2022 and is still successfully running on the big screen.

Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema, the poetic romance drama film Sita Ramam is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and marks Thakur’s debut in the Telugu film industry. Sita Ramam unravels the mysterious love story of Lieutenant Ram, an orphan soldier whose life changes after receiving a letter from Sita.
Sita Ramam has been a commercial success at the box office with a collection of ₹90 crores gross in a month and is still going strong.
Speaking about the film, Salmaan said, “Sita Ramam is a timeless and heart-warming film that embraces the poignancy of pure love between two individuals. It is truly a special film and will always hold a special place in my heart.”

While Thakur shared her experience of portraying Sita in her Telugu debut film. “Playing Sita has been one of the most humbling experiences of my life. I was mesmerised within minutes of hearing the narration and could not have let this opportunity go.”
