Devotees serve the Goddess with full rituals and devotion. It is very common for them to install a Kalash on the first day of Navratri as the prevalent belief is that installing a Kalash in the house brings happiness, prosperity and peace.

Auspicious Time For Kalash Sthaapana

According to the expert, you should perform the Kalash Sthaapana at the auspicious time frame of 11:44 a.m. on October 15 till 12:30 p.m. on October 15.

Kalash, Gangajal, Mauli, Roli, Akshat, Coin, Wheat or Akshat, Pallav of mango leaves (5 mango leaves), earthen pot, pure soil, a clean cloth to keep on the soil, Kalava, wheat or Barley, brass or earthen lamp, ghee, cotton wick, vermilion, red clothes, coconut with coir etc.
